Developing Mini Collections

Creating mini collections is not only based on choosing the article that we will make and the colors that we will use to carry it out. Creating a collection is a very hard job in which sketches must first be made on grid sheets and diagrams of technical graphics to be able to verify and validate the measurements for each of the products that the mini collection will have, with this it is sought to understand in the piece that you want to make in its entirety.

In order to carry out this practice, the students were asked to draw, sketch, measure, frame, minimize, maximize, design, color, combine colors and calculate widths and lengths for total measurements, measurements before sewing and after sewing with the Difficulty meeting estimated times for each of the activities precisely.

Each of our students had to carry out all the activities that were specified, and for this we provided them with all the materials they might need to be able to carry out each exercise without difficulties. In addition, they had at their disposal the diagrams they would need to be able to sketch their own works from their interpretation.

Our students were able to understand and complete each of the activities to be carried out without any inconvenience, choosing the appropriate colors, designs and sizes for each of their designs.

In short, either using their previous knowledge or applying what they learned during the course, each of them was able to successfully become the designers of their own collections.
